I have been a member of Broadway FFA for four years and have been able to serve as a chapter officer for two years. My supervised agricultural experience while in FFA was raising boer goats, showing market goats, and breeding a hereford cow. I spent many hours with my livestock making sure they were healthy for breeding season and getting my show animals ready for their upcoming market shows.

FFA has played an important role in my life by teaching me how important it is to be a leader. I have been able to improve on my leadership skills and my knowledge of agriculture. Being a part of FFA has given me the opportunity to travel to many places and meet new people. I have had the opportunity to compete in many competitions like livestock judging, dairy judging, meat judging, milk quality, poultry judging, public speaking, parliamentary procedure, and many more. Competing in these competitions has given me the ability to win the state competitions with my team and compete at the national level in Indiana. I am extremely thankful for my FFA advisors and the way they have mentored me and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. I will forever cherish my time in FFA and remember all the skills and memories FFA has allowed me to have. I have been absolutely honored to obtain the American FFA Degree.
